Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Me and the hubby decided we wanted to just get out ride and Popeyes in Melbourne was where we ended up to eat. Ordered the Tackle box combo and the Surf and Turf box combo. Chicken tenders that were broke up looking like popcorn chicken. The shrimp were over fried. Will not have to worry about me and mine ever going back to that location. 👎🏽

Has improved recently..faster service and more staff. Very pleased!

We tried their "famous" Chicken Sandwiches, both non-spicy, and spicy. They were both dry, and all batter! The non-spicy sandwich had about 1/4" thick of mayonnaise, 2 salty pickles, and an all batter piece of chicken. The spicy chicken sandwich came with a salty hot sauce, and 2 salty pickles, and the same all batter piece of chicken. It's not the same spicy chicken they normally sell, this is a burn your guts out hot sauce they put on the sandwich (we love spicy food, including their normal spicy chicken). In both cases, the chicken could have been used in a hockey game as the puck! It was dry, all batter, and hard as a rock The only thing that was good, was the bun! The service was insane! There's one person taking the orders, filling the orders, and handing out the orders while the customers wait for this one person to do it all.I gave 1 Star for the one employee that's doing it all there, otherwise I would give a 0 Stars!

Couldn't believe the greeting I received upon my arrival. These folks love their job and it shows. BTW, the new chicken sandwich ROCKS!!

The fries were fantastic as usual, fried chicken wasn't that great will try burger next time.

The chicken was perfect and I love their spicy chicken sandwich!

This particular Popeyes was disappointing!!! Could not wait to bite into my chicken sandwich, they are usually the best. Our food was so greasy it was uneatable! Sides cold! Our drink had a cut in the side of cup and ended up all over. Very disappointing. Staff were clueless!

When I got home I was missing half of my order. I called to let the manager know and he said I should have checked it before I left. I'm sorry, it's YOUR job to make sure the order is complete. To correct this, he told me I would have to come back in that night. I live almost 10 miles away and that was the best resolution they could offer for THEIR mistake? Very poor customer service.

Anyone who has ever gone to a restaurant knows that phenomenal chicken isn't always going to be in stock, due to high demand but each day/evening is different. I noticed a lot of rude customers while eating in the restaurant...which I'm sure isn't pleasant for the employees but the food is awesome and isn't greasy like most chicken restaurants. Chicken is moist but I think there should be soft instead of crispy lol I'm not a fan of crispy chicken but I love the flavor of everything I ordered and the red beans and rice are delicious! I'm allergic to seafood and fish but DIDN'T have a allergic reaction from eating my chicken so I'm glad they don't use the same grease! I really don't have anything to complain about but if I had to suggest anything it would be add a salad to the menu. 🤗😍

I loved the Spicy Chicken sandwich.... I feel that 2 pickles does not suffice, but I didn't think to ask for extra. Other than my pickle issuser

I lobe Popeyes Chicken! Their Cajun chicken and rice just always hit the spot when you're looking for a twist on your fried chicken. Their biscuits are always great and also a major fan of their chicken tenders and their fries are also delicious.

Food tastes fine but the workers are rude as per usual. Why do I keep coming back here? Guess I'm a glutten for punishment.

It is what it is. Had to finally try the chicken sandwich and I will give it an edge over their competition. Chicken had some crunch, good flavor, very bright white meat, juicy, and decent pickles. Disappointed that both come with mayo and that the spicy mayo is the only thing that makes the spicy version spicy.

No big whoop. Actually very disappointing. We stopped in and specifically tried the chicken sandwich everyone is talking about. I wish I had taken a photo of it before I bit into it. The sandwich was huge. I thought wow no wonder it beats that other chicken place. But I bit in and got a chunk of mush. I pulled the sandwich apart and the photos speak for themselves. There was more breading than meat. Take the volume of meat into account and you are paying $8 for half a chicken breast on a bun with pickles and fries. Nah! Just too disappointing. I'll stick to buying their tenders and fried chicken. I've not been disappointed by that, yet.

The staff here is pretty good when they aren't on their smart phones. The food typical Popeyes. I liked it but as soon as you finish ordering, it's right back to texting.

Great red beans and rice. Gravy on potatoes is very tasty. Chicken is much better than KFC.

I frequently visit this restaurant and really enjoy the food. However my last 2 visits I have not received my food as ordered. This is very frustrating when you get home and one of your sandwiches is missing or like today when there were no biscuits with my meal that I spent almost 40 dollars for. I will continue to order from popeyes because I enjoy the food I just will be checking my order thoroughly

Popeyes... your food is always fantastic, fresh, tasty, and southern goodness. The problem is getting the right food. Since moving to Florida 4 years back, I've yet to receive a single correct order. I hope I'm the exception, and not the rule.

Our usual meals of chicken and shrimp. I do like the popcorn shrimp. Tasty fries too. The drive thru server was so kind and very helpful! I appreciate her answering my many menu questions. She also helped me pick out a meal for a friend and encouraged us to try the chocolate pie. We split one. It was rich and tasty.

Popeyes is great for take out. I like that their chicken isn't real greasy, like some others we ALL know. I LOVE their tenders too. This particular drive thru was super friendly today, an added bonus! And when my hubby ordered a 4 piece combo and all they had was breasts and thighs, they asked if we wanted to wait for others to finish cooking and he said he was good with those pieces, they gave him 3 breasts!! WOW! Most others would load up the thighs instead. We were thrilled♡

Awful service. Slow and rude workers, cannot complete a drive through order correctly.

Worst service I have ever experienced. I waited over 25 minutes for my order; first no chicken tenders, then no shrimp THEN no biscuit! No apology. No communication. I’ve worked in customer service over 12 years and would NEVER treat someone that way. This was my first time at Popeyes and I will not be coming back... and STILL walked out with no biscuit.

This was only my second visit ever to any Popeyes restaurant. I typically go to.....KFC(shhh), which is not too often. I try not to eat 'fast food', if I can find more wholesome menu items. However, I was on my way back home from Melbourne to Tampa and I wanted fried chicken. You know how that goes? Fried Chicken, and you want it NOW! LOL To be fair, I searched online for a local KFC and found no locations in the area. I knew this Popeyes was in my vicinity. So give it a try, I thought!

Got 2 classic chicken sandwiches, mine was not cooked properly. Bit into it. Like rubber.Not edible. Terrible.

Food was great . service not so much and I prefer to not have my fries dumped in the bottom of the bag. I have had better service at a Popeyes in a combat zone

Honestly, Popeye's chicken is my favorite but wasn't great this time. The chicken was good but salty. The surf and turf chicken strip was very dry and I was never offered BBQ or tartar sauce.

This was my first time eating at any Popeyes… Been living under a rock most of my life I guess. The food was amazing and the staff was awesome. Love this place! I will definitely be back. Anthony went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated!

Was told by the drive thru worker to pull up and someone would bring my food out. 15 minutes later still no food, so I go inside, only to find out they totally forgot about my whole order. Ok it happens no big deal, they hand me two cakes and walk away leaving me at the front counter for another ten minutes going back and forth with the workers who thought that I was only waiting on cakes, then they thought I was waiting on shrimp. I had to explain 3 times my order to them even though they already had the receipt. Finally get my food, they forgot to give me my drink, my sauce, and I check the bag as I’m pulling off and all of the food is freezing cold.

The Chicken sandwich, either spicy or regular, is the best! The wait was too long at lunchtime, as the six different people ahead of me all ordered the chicken sandwich, too, and we had to wait for more to cook. But the food was delicious.

The manager Anthony at the pop eyes in west melbounre, he is the man, always does a great job. True pro.

Bad staff.Expensive fast food.Ran out of chicken 4 HOURS from close and unwilling to make more chicken.Took 30 minutes in the “speedy” drive thru to even get close to the menu.Nothing was ready to pick up, and order had the be changed for a second time at the window.Would leave less stars if I could.The establishment is dusty as hell. Dr. Pepper doesn’t like the drink at all, more like flavored water. For a first time experience? I’m never going back.
